Camp Cue is a not-for-profit organization founded on the idea that musical theatre doesn’t have to live within the confines of four walls. Distanced from day-to-day distractions, Camp Cue combines the experience of a pacific northwest sleep-away camp with high-level musical theatre training from industry professionals in an accessible and exciting way, to inspire the next generation of young artists.
Why Camp Cue?
Camp Cue offers a transformative experience for aspiring performers aged 9–18. Unlike traditional performance-based camps, Camp Cue provides a supportive and non-competitive environment where campers can explore their passion for musical theatre. The program focuses on building skills and fostering creativity while prioritizing personal growth, confidence, and connection. Campers thrive in a safe and inclusive space that celebrates diversity, including a strong LGBTQIA+ community.
The camp blends professional-quality workshops with traditional summer camp fun. Industry professionals and guest artists lead over 15 engaging workshops in acting, singing, and dance, while recreational activities like kayaking, arts and crafts, and movie nights add to the magic. This holistic approach ensures that campers develop their performance abilities while enjoying a well-rounded and joyful summer.

Our camp does away with an emphasis on final performance and allows campers to spend the week exploring their craft while being introduced to new ideas and concepts, a wide variety of materials and many different educators.
We focus on the process and believe that the most artistic and personal growth comes when there is no emphasis on a final product.
